Accessibility statement

Last updated : 1 October 2026

This English version is for information only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring

In brief

  • Aim: WCAG 2.2 level AA on the public pages of labs24terra.click.
  • Internal review only; no external audit and no conformance percentage.
  • Motion stops when your operating system asks to reduce motion.
  • If you get stuck, write to [email protected] or call 020 244 18 06; we reply within 2 working days.

1. What this statement covers

This text applies to the website labs24terra.click of Labsterra B.V., a recording studio at Czaar Peterstraat 213 in Amsterdam-Oost, Amsterdam. It states what we aim for, what we have checked ourselves, what still fails and how to reach us. The Dutch version is authoritative; this English page is a translation for information.

We want visitors — with or without a disability — to read the services, prepare a session and contact us. That covers Vocal recording, Mixing, Mastering, Band recording and Podcast recording, plus the guides and the FAQ.

2. Legal frame and status

The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) is implemented in the Netherlands by the Act on accessibility requirements for products and services. For certain consumer services that Act applies from 28 June 2025. Micro-enterprises that provide services — fewer than ten people and an annual turnover or balance-sheet total of at most two million euros — are exempt for services. Labsterra B.V. has a team of four and issued capital of €100; this statement is therefore voluntary.

No full audit by an external body has been done. We do not publish a percentage. We call the site partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because of the limits below and the lack of an external review. We use the European standard EN 301 549 as a reference, not as a claimed mark.

3. What we checked ourselves

In the internal pass, finished on 1 October 2026, we could:

  • enlarge text to 200 percent and view pages on a 320-pixel-wide screen without horizontal scrolling of the content;
  • use the menu, heading path, form and cookie banner with the keyboard only, with a visible focus;
  • stop motion through the system option that reduces movement;
  • walk the heading structure, landmarks and labels on form fields.

Technology: HTML5, CSS3 and one optional JavaScript file. Without script, copy, prices (including 21 percent VAT) and contact details stay readable. Images have alt text in the language of the page.

4. Known limits

  • Third-party form. The contact form is sent through FormSubmit. If that send fails, that service shows its own page, whose language and structure we do not control. You can always email or call us.
  • Map. A link to OpenStreetMap opens a third-party site. The walk (tram 10, Oostplein metro) is written on contact and about us: Tram 10 stops at Czaar Peterstraat; it is about a three-minute walk to number 213. From Oostplein metro (lines 51, 53 and 54) allow roughly ten minutes on foot along Czaar Peterstraat.
  • Assistive technology. The structure is meant for screen readers, but we have not systematically tested every screen-reader and browser pair.
  • Generated atmosphere photos. Studio pictures are thematic images, not live captions of a session. They have a short alt text; they do not replace a written description of the rooms.

We fix reported issues where our code can do so. Third-party pages sit outside that promise.

5. The building in Amsterdam-Oost

The studio is at Czaar Peterstraat 213, 1018 PL Amsterdam. Live room 42 m², control room 18 m², 3 iso booths, at most 8 people per session. Hours: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00. Closed Monday and Sunday.

We do not claim a fully step-free path to every booth. Stairs, thresholds or narrow doors depend on the corridor in the building. If you use a wheelchair, need extra time, a companion or a quiet check-in, call 020 244 18 06 or write to [email protected] before you come. We will look together at what fits — extra time in Emma de Vries's schedule, or another booth if it is free. That is not a promise that every request can be met.

6. Reporting a barrier

If you cannot use a page or a service, write to [email protected] or call 020 244 18 06. Please include, if you can:

  • the page or the action (form, banner, price table);
  • what went wrong;
  • device, browser and any assistive tool.

We reply within 2 working days and offer the information in another format where that is reasonable (plain text, larger type, a spoken briefing during opening hours). That is the same reply window as for ordinary studio questions, not an extra promise.

7. If our reply is not enough

Asking us first remains the fastest path. If that leads nowhere, existing bodies can help. The Netherlands Institute for Human Rights handles complaints about equal treatment, including on the ground of disability or chronic illness. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets supervises accessibility rules for products and services. We name those routes for information; we do not speak for their outcome or their timetable.

8. How this text was prepared

Prepared on 1 October 2026. Last internal pass: 1 October 2026. Method: manual checks on the unique page types (home, about, services, service pages, guides, FAQ, contact, legal pages): keyboard, focus, 200 percent zoom, widths 320, 375, 768 and 1440 pixels, reduced motion, contrast. Automated check of the code: alt texts, labels, page language, heading order, unique ids, links.
