How we work
At Labsterra we start with clear expectations: what you want to capture, which references matter and how much time is realistic. You get a proposal with price and schedule — and we stick to it in the room.
Our 42 m² live room and 3 iso booths handle vocals, drums and keys. Mix and master happen in the control room; files go out digitally, with session backups kept for 24 months.

A canal-side building on Czaar Peterstraat
Since 2016 we have worked from Czaar Peterstraat 213 in Amsterdam-Oost. The control room is 18 m²; up to 8 people can be on site when the project allows it.

How do I book studio time?
Send a message via contact. We reply within 2 working days with a slot and written quote. After you accept and pay the 30% deposit, the booking is confirmed.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes — listed rates include 21% VAT. On Services you also see ex-VAT amounts, e.g. €78.51 vs €95 for Vocal recording.
How long do you keep sessions?
Multitracks and project files for 24 months after the last session. Back up your own copies once you receive the download link.
Can I hire you for remote mixing?
Yes, via mixing with clear stem delivery. See exchanging stems; standard mix work includes 2 revision rounds unless agreed otherwise.
When are you open?
Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00. Closed Monday and Sunday. Closed Monday and Sunday; sessions by appointment.
